Zentek (formerly Provideo Management, Inc.) provides Security Authorization & Assessment (SA&A) support to a Civilian Agency’s Office of Information Security. The team that we support has been designated by DHS as an Information Systems Security Line of Business (ISSLoB) with the responsibility to improve the level of information systems security across the government by eliminating duplication of effort, increasing aggregate expertise, and enhancing the overall security posture of the federal government.
Our support involves performing Security Control Assessment (SCA) services, which include interviews & examinations, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. We perform SCA services for federal organizations, both within our customer’s agency and external to our customer’s agency.
Our approach integrates SA&A into the system development life cycle (SDLC), thereby improving the federal customers’ overall IT security posture and providing an independent review of systems that have been or are being prepared to receive authorization.
