Zentek has been awarded a prime contract to deliver Information Assurance (IA), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Cybersecurity Support for the National Background Investigation System (NBIS). The NBIS system supports background investigations by providing the information resources necessary to determine an individual’s trustworthiness to have access to US Government facilities, information, and information systems.
Zentek will assist the NBIS Project Management Office (PMO) in providing Cybersecurity Engineering, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support, Security Architecture support, Cloud Engineering, and Project Management for the systems currently managed by NBIS. Bob Haas, Zentek Senior Vice President said, “We are very excited to have been chosen to support this high profile and crucial system and look forward to continuing to supporting DISA’s mission”. This Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), RMF, and Cybersecurity support is essential to maintain systems and applications conforming to DoD and DISA IA and Cybersecurity requirements and guidance.
